Small Kitchen with Big Flavours at The Point Restaurant – closed permanently

The fantastic little restaurant is in Sydenham, South Frontenac, Ontario. Centrally located in town, the dining spot is close to the Cataraqui Trail, the nearby Gould Lake Conservation Area, and Frontenac Provincial Park.

This makes The Point Restaurant perfectly located for explorers, after a day relaxing on Sydenham Lake, hiking the wilderness or a road trip dinner stop.

Philly Egg Rolls

Made to order! Stuffed with shaved beef, onion, pepper, mushroom, cheese sauce, and sour cream. These babies are fresh, and melt in your mouth delicious!

The Point Burger, plus bacon

Fresh ground, local beef, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheddar, peppercorn mayo, and crispy hot peppers – with bacon added. The burger is great even without those crispy pork slices!

I tried three mayos with my fries – Roasted Tomato, Green Peppercorn, plus Chipotle and Thyme. So #yummy!

Onion Ring Tower

Perfectly battered and fried onion rings, with chipotle dipping sauce, were the perfect snack and appetizer!

Chicken Club

Avocado creama, moist chicken and thick-sliced local bacon, tomato lettuce triple-decker tastiness.

Briskwich

The juicy and tender beef brisket was simmered and slow-cooked in the restaurant’s special bourbon BBQ sauce. The meat is piled high on a cheddar-covered ciabatta bun with crispy onions for an incredibly delicious sandwich.

Veal Parmesan*

This was a one-night special but you can check The Point Restaurant’s Facebook to see what’s cooking!

Chocolate Fudge Cake with Strawberry

Made with their own chocolate ganache, this cake, combined with the tartness of the fresh strawberry and the sweetness of the sauce, this dessert was seriously decadent.

Raspberry Cheesecake with a Chocolate Crumb Crust

This creamy cheesecake laced with tangy raspberry ribbons, drizzled in chocolate and accented with berry decor is not only beautiful in presentation, but absolutely delicious. It’s a large dessert made for two VERY HUNGRY people.

Real Milkshakes

There is no better way to wash down a delicious dessert than with another dessert! The chocolate milkshake was made with its own chocolate ganache for an intensely rich flavour. The orange was fruity and creamy in flavour, just the right balance of citrus and vanilla that is oh so satisfying.

This little restaurant isn’t open 7 days a week, so check ahead before making plans!
