Easy Hike on the Tamarack Trail at Kettle Lakes Provincial Park
This trail loops around Tamarack Lake, a Northern Bog, and through a typical Boreal Forest environment.
After a leisurely morning drinking coffee at Cabin 200 on Isolation Lake, I packed up my gear to hike the Tamarack Trail at Kettle Lakes Provincial Park.
It was a moderate trail in difficulty: gentle inclines and declines with the usual tripping hazards like roots and rocks. What struck me was the lack of signage, but the path was well-trod and cleared – I never questioned which way I was supposed to go.
