Convenient parking is located at the Water Street Boat Launch from where to launch your kayak, SUP boards, and canoes. Rentals used to be available at this location, but the small Riverbank Rentals company has closed.

Paddle to Springside Park Dam

Heading towards the dam, there is a water fountain along the way – the perfect spot for a cooling shower on a hot day.

Paddle past the fountain and get close to the edge of the falls; be aware of a strong current when approaching the dam. The powerful water may pull a watercraft into the submerged rocks hiding below the churning river’s murky surface.
