Kayaking on Mew Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park with my Oru

Launching my Oru Beach on Mew Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park

Having enjoyed glamping at Mew Lake Campground in Algonquin Provincial Park, I was looking forward to taking my new-to-me Oru Kayak (2021) on my next trip and taking advantage of being so close to a small lake.

Sunset over Mew Lake.

This small, non-motorized lake is perfect for an evening paddle – you won’t get lost, and the beach landing is easy to spot. If you’re camping on the waterfront, leave a light on to find your site!
