Glamping at Springfield Farms – Seasonal

In 2019, Mike and I stayed at the Apple Hill Yurt at Springfield Farm for a travel blog with Cornwall Tourism, and The Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. Read about our foodie fuelled road trip here: WhereOntarioBegan.ca.

Arriving at the farm, and our first look at the yurt – under gathering clouds, of course.

Inside the adorable yurt, there is a wood stove, chairs and a side table, an antique bed, a foldout sleeper chair, and another table and chairs (not pictured) for enjoying dinner.

Epic sunset views. If I woke up before dawn, I’m sure the sunrise would have been impressive.

Walk about the farm early before checking out. One night was not enough at this glamping spot!

Cornwall and the Counties SDG is South Eastern Ontario’s cornucopia of farm-fresh foods with a bounty of baked goods.

Where we went food shopping: Cannamore Orchards, Cornwall Community Market, Dentz Berry Farm, Epicerie Henderson Grocery, Fairy Sweet, Les Jardin Lamoureux Gardens, Marrow and Spice, The Millernery at Cornerstone Farm and Pantry, Simply Jennifer, Upper Canada Creamery, and Butchers to Go.
