Did I See Black Bears on the trail #inFrontenac?

An easy hike starting at the Park Office and down two flights of stairs before starting the boardwalk section.

The vibrancy and saturation of the colours during the fall are incredible.

Just look at those colours!

Continuing to walk along the boardwalk.

Hemmed in, a stream runs through the wetland to one side of the boardwalk and the Canadian Shield to the other.

So, did we see Black Bears? Yes!

We saw our first black bear sighting: a momma and two very large cubs. We were on the boardwalk, and the bears were moving through the forest across the beaver pond from us. Captured at 600mm, 3x crop.
