Aerial Views & Seaway Hues Tour | 1000 Islands Helicopter | Summer Photoblog

It was a hot day. The haze was hanging in the air, but oh, the clouds were so fluffy, the sky was the bluest blue and when you’re way up there? You’re witout a care!

Ready for lift-off!

Once Aaron, our helicopter pilot for the tour, took off, the weather down there didn’t seem to matter anymore – we were surrounded by various shades of emeralds, turquoise and sapphire blues.

For our second time in the air, we chose Aerial Views & Seaway Hues. A 30-minute tour taking you over the Ivy Lea bridge & 1000 Islands Tower, Boldt Castle, Grenadier Island, Singer Castle and more! I had two cameras in my lap so that in between the wide and super-wide lenses, I’d capture as much of the landscape that we would be flying over.

The weather and wind were pretty smooth the entire way, with a few bumps here and there, so without further ado, here are some of my favourite shots from the flight over the St.Lawrence River and the 1000 Islands.
